Part-Time Property Maintenance All-Rounder – Potential for Full-Time
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a wide range of practical skills?
We're looking for a reliable, versatile handyman or handywoman to join our growing property management team!
Position: Property Maintenance & General Repairs
Type: Part-Time (with potential to move into Full-Time)
Location: various, (Main-Office in Middleton, NS, Service area from Annapolis Royal to New Minas and surrounding)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $19.50–$27.50/hour depending on experience (starting at the lower end, with regular increases based on performance and reliability)
🔧 What You’ll Do:
Perform general property maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.)
Assist with landscaping, seasonal upkeep, and light renovations
Tow small utility trailers (pickup truck use may be involved)
Basic mechanical upkeep (e.g., oil changes on lawnmowers or other small equipment)
(Bonus) Operate small machinery or equipment like a mini-excavator
Be a dependable “jack of all trades” helping to keep properties safe, functional, and looking their best

Requirements
Strong hands-on skills and a can-do attitude
Experience with tools, small repairs, and general maintenance
Basic mechanical knowledge for small engine maintenance (e.g., oil changes, filter cleaning, spark plug replacement)
Valid driver's license (trailer-pulling experience is an asset)
Friendly and professional appearance
Excellent communication and customer service skills (you’ll interact with tenants, owners, and team members)
Dependable, punctual, trustworthy, and loyal
A willingness to learn and grow — we’re happy to train the right individual who’s flexible, a quick learner, and has a thirst for knowledge
